Special Thanks to all who supported the 2011 bout season

The Elm City Derby Damez owe our successful 2011 season to so many and would like to take this time to extend a special thanks to the town of Brattleboro VT for their warm welcomes and support. This was our second bouting season and the first where we hosted our own events with the help of the Nelson Withington Skating Facility (Memorial Park Skating Arena). We couldn't have asked for a better work experience than we received during our host bouts. It is a beautiful facility and we will miss it while it is covered in ice. Thank you also to the Steakout in Brattleboro for allowing us to have our after parties at their establishment. The Steakout was kind enough to provide us with much needed nourishment after a bout well played. We highly recommend their food and their staff after our exemplary experiences. We would also like to thank the Brattleboro Reformer and their sports staff for bringing us to the people with their excellent coverage of our bouts, and to WTSAFM in Brattleboro and Ian and Tim In The Morning for chatting with us on the air! Finally, the biggest thank you goes to the fans from all over who came out with cowbells and a love of derby. We couldn't do it without you. All of your support has been integral to our successes and you haven't heard the last of us. See you in 2012!
